Method's mission to a more sustainable future is right on track. Instead of marketing its latest laundry detergent line in an opaque HDPE container with a through handle, Method's 53-oz 4x Concentrated Laundry Detergents are packaged in a clear, 100% post-consumer recycled PET container that has been designed ergonomically so that a handle is not necessary.

With the help of Amcor Rigid Plastics who sources the RPET resin, Method achieved this package breakthrough after undergoing rigorous compatibility tests, tooling/molding design adjustments, and automated assembly trials.

This isn't the only instance where Method made the shift to post consumer recycled materials for their packages. In fact in 2008 they changed their cleaning products over from virgin PET to 100% recycled PET, which was never done in the US household cleaning category before. Compliments to Method for reducing their impact on the environment!
