St. Ives Body Lotion


Alberto Culver reached out to Product Ventures to research, design and develop a new structure for their St. Ives brand body lotion.  Rooted with a design philosophy where form follows function, the goal was to create a consumer use experience that is founded in an understanding of "why"  the design looks and feels the way it does.  Through extensive consumer research and iterative prototyping, PV was able to deliver a curved shape is easy to hold and dispense as well as stable so one can dispense without picking up the product. The new design enhances the repositioning of the brand and it’s “upscale” look makes it worthy of storage on the counter.
