Innovative Stasis FLEX™ Receives International Design Award

Fairfield, CT (January 29, 2009) – Product Ventures, renowned agency for structural innovation, has received the distinguished 2008 GOOD DESIGN® award for its design of Anton/Bauer’s Stasis FLEX™ Power Support System, a versatile shoulder-mounted camera stabilizer.

The Stasis FLEX™ distributes the weight of the hefty “pro-sumer” (professional/consumer) video camera onto the shoulder and torso while providing camera control and stability. A patent-pending, fully adjustable FLEX arm allows the camera to be positioned in virtually any shooting position. The design incorporates multiple “spine-like” elements that are locked into position via an internal cable and lever-lock. The rear of unit provides an ideal location for the heavy camera battery which provides a counter-balance to the camera, further maximizing weight distribution for comfort and performance.
